About the Summit

6 questions

The EU-Arab Legal Summit is the first dedicated forum bringing together legal professionals from Europe and the Arab world—including the MENA region and GCC countries—for knowledge sharing, networking, and business development.

Conceived by Law Pundits, the team behind the internationally acclaimed Global Legal Forum in The Hague, this summit addresses the specific legal challenges and opportunities at the EU-Arab intersection.

The summit takes place June 3-4, 2026 at the Hilton The Hague in the Embassy Quarter, Netherlands.

The schedule includes:

  • June 3 (Evening): Welcome Dinner & Networking
  • June 4 (Full Day): Conference Sessions, Networking Lunch, and Awards Gala

The summit is organized by Law Pundits, the team behind the internationally acclaimed Global Legal Forum in The Hague. We have over 5 years of experience bringing together legal professionals from around the world for meaningful dialogue and connection.

This is a single-track conference, meaning all attendees experience the same sessions together. This format maximizes networking opportunities and ensures a shared experience.

The format includes:

  • Keynote presentations from industry leaders
  • Expert panel discussions with Q&A
  • Fireside chats on emerging topics
  • Structured networking sessions
  • Themed roundtable lunch discussions
  • EU-Arab Gala Dinner on Day 1

The summit is designed for senior legal professionals who work at the intersection of European and Arab markets.

This includes:

  • Law firm partners and associates with cross-border practices
  • General counsels and in-house legal teams in charge of EMEA region
  • International arbitrators and mediators
  • Compliance officers and regulatory specialists
  • Legal tech executives and innovation leaders
  • Government officials and legal policymakers

Yes, this is the inaugural EU-Arab Legal Summit. While the legal and business relationship between Europe and the Arab world has grown significantly, there has never been a dedicated forum for legal professionals from both regions. This summit fills that gap.

Travel & Visa

5 questions

The Netherlands is part of the Schengen Area. Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality.

Generally:

  • EU/EEA citizens: No visa required
  • GCC nationals: Schengen visa typically required
  • Other nationalities: Check with your local Dutch embassy

We recommend checking requirements well in advance and allowing 4-6 weeks for visa processing.

Yes! We provide official invitation letters for visa applications upon registration. The letter will be available for download immediately after your registration is confirmed.

If you need any additional documentation for your visa application, please contact registration@euarablegal.com.

The Hague is easily accessible from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (37 km away).

Your options:

  • Train (Recommended): Direct trains run every 10 minutes from Schiphol to Den Haag Centraal Station. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. From the station, the Hilton The Hague is a 15-minute walk or 5-minute tram ride (Tram 1 to Mauritskade).
  • Taxi/Uber: Approximately 25-40 minutes depending on traffic.
  • Car Rental: Take the A4 motorway. The hotel has parking available

Rotterdam The Hague Airport is closer (20 km, about 23 minutes by car), but has limited international connections. Most international attendees will find Schiphol more convenient due to its extensive route network.

If you’re traveling from within Europe, check if Rotterdam has direct flights from your city—it could be a convenient alternative.

Yes! Amsterdam Schiphol has excellent direct connections to the GCC and wider Arab region.

Direct flights available from:

  • Dubai (Emirates, KLM) — 6 hours
  • Abu Dhabi (Etihad) — 6 hours
  • Doha (Qatar Airways) — 6 hours
  • Riyadh (Saudia, KLM) — 6 hours
  • Jeddah (Saudia) — 6 hours
  • Kuwait City (Kuwait Airways, KLM) — 5.5 hours
  • Bahrain (Gulf Air) — 6 hours
  • Muscat (Oman Air) — 7 hours
  • Cairo (EgyptAir, KLM) — 4.5 hours
  • Amman (Royal Jordanian) — 4.5 hours

The Hague has excellent public transport, but if you’re staying at the venue, you may not need it at all.

Getting around:

  • Walking: The Embassy Quarter is very walkable. Key sites like the Peace Palace, Binnenhof (Parliament), and Mauritshuis Museum are all within 20 minutes on foot.
  • Trams: Efficient tram network. Tram 1 connects the venue area to the beach at Scheveningen (15 min).
  • Taxi/Uber: Readily available throughout the city.

Accommodation

4 questions

We strongly recommend staying at the Hilton The Hague—the summit venue itself. This 5-star hotel is located in the prestigious Embassy Quarter, offering both convenience and an exceptional experience.

Benefits of staying at the venue:

  • Roll out of bed and into sessions
  • Continue conversations over breakfast and dinner
  • No travel logistics during the summit
  • Be first to networking events and last to leave
  • Executive lounge access available (select room types)

Yes! We’ve negotiated a preferential room rate exclusively for EU-Arab Legal Summit attendees at the Hilton The Hague.

Summit rate includes:

  • Room rate from €179 per night
  • Breakfast included
  • WiFi included
  • Rate valid until May 1, 2026 (or while rooms last)

Details and the booking link will be provided upon registration. Book early—rooms at the preferential rate are limited.

After completing your summit registration, you’ll receive an email with the exclusive booking link and rate code for the NH world trade centre Hague. Book early—rooms at the preferential rate are limited.

While we recommend the Hilton for the best experience, The Hague offers excellent alternatives within walking distance of the venue:

  • Hotel Des Indes — Historic 5-star luxury, 10-minute walk
  • Marriott The Hague — Modern business hotel, 15-minute walk
  • Novotel Den Haag City Centre — Comfortable mid-range, 12-minute walk
  • Ibis Den Haag City Centre — Budget-friendly option, 10-minute walk

All alternatives are within easy reach of the venue on foot or by a short tram ride.

You can, but we don’t recommend it. Amsterdam is approximately 50 minutes by train from The Hague, which means you’ll spend time commuting and may miss informal networking opportunities.

If you do stay in Amsterdam, direct trains to Den Haag Centraal run every 10 minutes. From there, the venue is a 15-minute walk or short tram ride.

For the best summit experience, stay at or near the venue in The Hague.
